What is DoodleRise?
DoodleRise is a new kind of alarm app where you draw a prompt to dismiss the alarm. Each morning you get a random prompt and must sketch it within a time limit.
Is it free?
Yes, DoodleRise is free to download and use.
What devices are supported?
Currently available on iOS devices (iPhone).
How do I set an alarm?
Open the app, tap '+', set the time, choose a prompt category, and save.
Do I have to draw to stop the alarm?
Yes, you need to draw the prompt within the time limit or use the skip button. Skip uses are limited.
What if I'm bad at drawing?
No artistic skill needed! A quick finger sketch is all it takes. The goal is to move your hands and wake up.
How many prompts are there?
Over 300 prompts across multiple categories, randomly selected each morning.
Where are my drawings saved?
All drawings are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.
Will deleting the app delete my drawings?
Yes. Please save important drawings via screenshots before uninstalling.
How do I set up a widget?
Long-press your home screen, tap '+', and select a DoodleRise widget. Choose from 4 design styles.
Can I change which drawing appears?
Yes, you can pick any drawing from your gallery to display on the widget.
My alarm doesn't ring
Check that notifications are enabled. Also make sure Do Not Disturb and Focus modes are off.
The app is slow or crashes
Update to the latest version. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app.
